A Biography Of Sabar Gorky

Sabar Gorky is a climbers tuna daksa famous. Who does not know with the figure of this man? For mountaineers must have been around the familiar with the figure of this?

He was one of climbers single-footed who has plume name Indonesia. He has many mountain climbing in the world. Sabar Gorky is not climbers that without achievement. Although having only one foot, but various achievements have been achieved by plume Indonesia. Among others as the first winner climb up the wall in Korea in 2009, and ranked fourth in the world championship climb up the wall the world in Paris in 2012, followed 53 countries.

Sabar Gorky was born in Solo, 9 September 1960. He live in in the village Gendingan, RT/RW : 3/6, Jebres, Solo. Sabar is the native name. Gorky is the name new say behind named Sabar after hes got to a mountain peak Elbrus, Russia.

One day in april 1990, after climbing mountains Gede, he came home to their homes in Solo. Arrived at the station Karawang, West Java he intend purchase drinks. At that moment he slipped that his right leg by train and he must treatment media amputated three times. Amputation first one was done in this.  And, two amputations next in Solo. But my legs left only 5 inches from the groin.

Before had an accident, he late in grief. As tuna daksa legged one he is feeling helpless. But thanks to encouragement from my family and my friends, Sabar receive the accident and continue lively with spirit. Ever depression when his feet have to amputated after falling from the train, Sabar Gorky slowly increase the quality of life. A breakthrough by a breakthrough he doing.

Besides mountain climbing, Sabar also active his race cycling, and climb up the wall. He was able to won gold medals championship climb up the wall Asia in 2009. He climb since 1985.

He have a dream, his dream is it will be climbers tuna daksa first which can be seven summiters. Be seven summiters is the main obsession of all mountaineers with got my foot in top the highest peak new world that is known as the seven summits of the world or seven the highest peak the world.

Has was climbing 15 a mountain until now. Two of them is the highest mountain peak in the world, the top Kilimanjaro (5.895 mdpl, the highest mountain in Africa and Elbrus in Russia). Two peaks Sabar climb in 2011.

Job besides after mountain climbing Sabar chose become laundry terraced building skyscrapers. With my forte proficient climb up the wall. I also opening stalls a drink like wedang ginger, located in Solo front of UNS, these stalls named Café Gorky.

A bunch of awards he could be among others :

1)      Reached the summit of mount Kilimanjaro (5.895 mdpl), the highest mountain in Africa, 13 November 2011.

2)      Attained the summit of mount Elbrus (5.642 mdpl), the highest volcano in Europe, 17 August 2011.

3)      Winner gold medals championship climb up the wall Asia in South Korea, 2009.

4)      Climb and reached the height of National Monument (Monas in Jakarta in the last 20 minutes on 4 June 2014.
