My First Experience Mount Climbing Papandayan

          My name is Aji, my hobby basically traveling and hiking. When I was a kid I love doing camping activities with my friends. And one day I and 3 people my friend named Eko, Geta, and Edwin plan hiking on a mountain are located on West Java with a height 2622 mdpl the mountain Papandayan. Starting from my house, My friends an I riding in a car pick up of keeping costs down. I share this car until a toll East Bekasi. From toll East Bekasi I continue to walking until Bulak Kapal. From Bulak Kapal my friends and I use public transportation at a cost of Rp 5.000,- until Cibitung market.  

           When we get to market, I and my friends shop for needs logistic as vegetables, tempe, and meatballs. After shopping for the needs of logistic my friend and I find that car to continue the trip. Of keeping costs, my friend and I continue their trip with using a truck vegetables finished unloading in the markets. Our group joined with other climbers who want to do to the mountain hiking Cikuray. Our journey from the market until the intersection of village Cisurupan only pay for the cost of Rp. 20.000 / person.

         And came at the village Cisurupan there have been public transports to wait for passengers, We immediately goes for negotiate tariff. We pay the price of Rp. 8.000,- / person until Cisurupan village. Until in the village we walked up the car pick up at a cost of Rp. 20.000/ person to arrive at the entrance of climbing. And came at the entrance climbing we propose enter with the cost of Rp.4.000 / person.

And from this ascent began. The difference when i used to climb by now very clearly visible. First when i mountain climbing Papandayan, there are not many people who occupy.

The Cisurupan is easiest, because the tracks so safe and friendly even for climbers novice once. On the track early, climbers will be relieved with the streets rocks with a track enough uphill. In the area it smells sulphur feels sting. Special charm is in the mountains it is with the forest dead and crater. There you will found a forest dead namely of the dry affected by eruption. My friends and I camped in Pondok Saladah. 

Edelweiss

 Besides forest dead, beauty Papandayan is a stretch plant of the edelweiss at Tegal Alun. Not only in Tegal Alun, in a Pondok Saladah there are also this interest flowers. The edelweis is the place favorite in Papandayan. On the top of this, climbers can watch beauty sunrise and sunset.
